1 small onion, finely chopped
1 celery stick, finely chopped
1/2 red chilli, finely chopped
Splash of olive oil
Peel of a small lemon, cut into fine strips
40ml vodka
120ml tomato juice
½ tsp celery salt
Splash of Worcestershire sauce and dash of hot sauce, to your taste
1tsp sherry vinegar
1 pack of Real Seafood Co Mussel Meat
Pinch of pepper
A handful of flat leaf parsley, finely chopped or torn

Let’s make something delicious
Step one
Start by heating the oil in a large saucepan over a medium heat. Add the onion, celery, chilli and lemon and fry for around 8 minutes, until soft.
Step two
Next add the vodka, tomato juice, celery salt, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, sherry vinegar and 75ml of water. Mix together and simmer for a couple of minutes. Season to your taste.
Step three
With the pan bubbling, add the mussels and cover with a lid to steam for 2 minutes, until the mussels are thoroughly warmed through. To serve, garnish with parsley and a little more fresh chill and lemon, if desired. Get stuck in with bread and fries!
