Brown Butter King Prawn Linguine

This silky, indulgent pasta dish is brightened with zesty lemon and fresh dill. The crunch of toasted hazelnuts pairs perfectly with the star of the show - sweet, meaty king prawns. More please!

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

160g linguine

50g butter

1 fat garlic clove, finely sliced

1 x 140g pack Real Seafood Co King Prawns

1/2 lemon, juice and zest

Handful of skinned hazelnuts, toasted and roughly crushed

A few sprigs of fresh dill, chopped

Grind of black pepper

Pinch of salt

Let’s make something delicious

  • Step one

    Bring a saucepan of water to the boil. Add the linguine with a pinch of salt and a drizzle of oil and cook under pack instructions. Once cooked, drain, reserving a couple of tablespoons of the pasta water.

  • Step two

    Over a medium heat, melt the butter in a large pan. Cook for 2 minutes, until golden brown and foaming. Add the sliced garlic and cook for a further minute.

  • Step three

    Next add the prawns, pasta with reserved water, lemon zest, juice and dill. Stir and toss together for a couple of minutes, until the prawns a piping hot.

  • Step four

    To serve, swirl the pasta onto plates and top with the crushed hazelnuts and a sprinkle more chopped dill. Enjoy immediately, deliciously hot!
