method
Let’s make something delicious
Step One
Make the prawn paste:
In a food processor add the grated ginger, minced garlic, soy sauce, chopped spring onions, a pinch of salt, a little black pepper, and the egg white. Blend until combined and in the form of paste.
Step Two
Prepare the bread:
Remove the crusts (optional) from the white bread and cut each slice into halves or quarters, depending on your size preference.
Step Three
Assemble the toast:
Spread a generous layer of the prawn mixture on one side of each bread piece. Press down gently to help it stick. Coat with sesame seeds.
Step Four
Brush the top (prawn side) with little oil. Preheat your air fryer to 180°C (350°F), then place prawn-side up in a single layer. Air fry for 6-8 minutes or until the prawns are cooked through and the tops are golden (no need to flip).
Step Five
Serve hot with a side of soy sauce or sweet chilli dipping sauce. Enjoy!
