method
Let’s make something delicious
Step one
Clean and devein the crevettes. We like to leave the tails on for easy handling but remove them if you prefer. Dry the crevettes well.
Step one
In a glass container, mix the marinade ingredients together. Add the crevettes and ensure they’re coated well. Leave in the fridge for 30-60 minutes. If you are cooking using wooden skewers on the BBQ, soak in cold water for 10 minutes.
Step two
When you’re ready to cook, fire up the BBQ. Remove the crevettes from the marinade and discard any remaining liquid. Thread onto skewers and grill for 2-5 minutes per side, until opaque and pink.
Step three
Serve with lemon wedges and garnish with coriander and coconut, if you wish.
