300g/10½oz raw king prawns, defrosted as per pack instructions
4tbsp Fruity olive oil
2 fat garlic cloves, sliced
1 tsp crushed dried chilli
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
2 tbsp roughly chopped fresh flat leaf parsley
Crusty bread, to serve
Salt and freshly ground black pepper

Let’s make something delicious
Step One
Preheat your oven to 220°C (200°C fan) or Gas mark 7. In an overproof dish large enough to hold the prawns in a single layer (or use two smaller dishes), pour in the olive oil. Add the garlic and crushed chilli to the oil.
Step Two
Place the dish(es) in the preheated oven and heat for about 5 minutes, until the oil is very hot and the garlic begins to soften and turn golden brown.
Step Three
Quickly add the pawns to the hot oil. Sprinkle with smoked paprika, and return the dish to the oven for other 5 minutes, or until the prawns are pink and cooked through.
Step Four
Remove from the oven, scatter with freshly chopped parsley. Serve immediately with crusty bread to soak up the delicious juices.
