Let’s make something delicious

  • Step One

In a bowl, mix together the gochujang, soy sauce, peppercorns, and chilli flakes. Add the prawns and set aside for at least 30 mins to marinade.

  • Step Two

Heat a splash of oil over a high heat in a wok. Remove the prawns from the marinade (reserve marinade though) and add to the pan – stir until cooked through, this will only take a few minutes. Then remove the prawns from the pan and set aside.

  • Step Three

Heat another good slug of oil in the wok, and add the garlic, ginger, and spring onion whites. Cook until fragrant and then add the veg. Stir fry until tender, then push aside and add the beaten eggs. Leave them untouched to cook for a minute or two, and then start stirring the eggs through the veg. At this point, add the pouch of rice and reserved marinade.

  • Step Four

Continue to stir fry until the rice is piping hot. Add the prawns back in at the last minutes not to overcook them.

  • Step Five

Serve up with a sprinkle of sesame seeds, the spring onion greens and the red chilli, enjoy!
